VISA INFORMATION:
Requirements for Visa Completed visa applications should be accompanied by a valid passport, the Visa Application Form duly filled, two identical and recent passport size photographs (three photographs for long term visas), documents supporting the nature of visit and the relevant visa fees.
For Tourist visas, the application should be accompanied by a return air ticket which will be returned after scrutiny. Moroccan nationals should also enclose a copy of their National Identity Card and copy of current bank statement to indicate availability of sufficient funds. Tourist visas are normally issued with a validity of 3 to 6 months.
The Consular Section entertains applications from those "normally resident" in Morocco. Applications from others will require a reference to other authorities and as such are prone to delay.
- Nationals of BHUTAN and NEPAL do not require Visas to India.
- Application for Business visa must have a letter of invitation from an Indian business organization or sponsorship from the local Chamber of Commerce.
- Students visas must be accompanied by a firm letter of admission from a recognized Institution in India.
- Applications for long-term visas attract various restrictions and requirements which may be ascertained from the Consular Section.
- Diplomatic and official passports, and also Visas for official purposes, should be accompanied by, in case of Moroccan nationals, a note verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affaires and Cooperation, Government of the Kingdom of Morocco or other relevant authorities acceptable to the Consular Officer, or, in case of other nationals, the Mission of the country of nationality of the applicant in Morocco.

Nationals of AFGHANISTAN, ARGENTINA, BANGLADESH, HUNGARY, JAMAICA, MALDIVES, MONGOLIA, MAURITIUS, POLAND, ROMANIA, RUSSIAN FEDERATION, SLOVAK REPUBLIC, SOUTH AFRICA and URUGUAY - No basic visa fees, or service fee for transferring valid visa from old passport to new passport, as well as Fees for Restricted / Protected Areas Permit, is charged from above nationals.
Nationals of RUSSIAN FEDERATION and ROMANIA are however required to pay a service charge of Dh 455.00, and Dh 75.00 respectively.
Nationals of PAKISTAN and SRI LANKA - No Service fee for transferring a valid visa from old passport to new passport is charged from the above nationals.
Nationals of the Unites States of America - A Visa application fee of Dh 230.00 is charged from al l U.S. Nationals, including official passport holders on non-official travel. Visa fees for a 10 year validity tourist / business visa for U.S. Nationals is the same as for a 5 years visa. However this fee will not be charged from US official passport holders when on an official visit, and from US diplomatic passport holders, irrespective of the nature of the visit.
Nationals of Czech Republic and of Hungary - Different Fee structure and delivery conditions apply. Details can be ascertained from the Consular Section.
Nationals of all the above countries will however be required to pay other fees like for communication charges etc.
